Famous comedian Jerry Seinfeld even takes a stab at food. In his Broadway performance in 1998, Seinfeld does a stand-up with a variety of common everyday material including how grocery shopping has become more of a scavenger hunt than a common weekly chore. The changing of products and the need for milk has taken over human life as told by Jerry. The humor in this is taking something as simple as melons and exaggerating the obvious with the absurd. His stand-up is suitable and understandable to all audiences since all humans have to eat and experience the same thoughts and wonders as they travel down the grocery aisle.
