In this cartoon by famed cartoonist Mark Parisi, it pokes fun at the idea that everything tastes like chicken. Of course, everything does not taste like chicken, but it’s the common saying. So by having cavemen say that the “ancestor” tastes like what would be “chicken” just took such a simple common saying and made it laughable. It is not known where this was printed other than on his website, but it is something for all audiences that knows the chicken tasting joke (which is most people).
